The Original Push Lawn Sweeper (26in)

Y’all got me. I walked into the garage with this box sober thinking it was some mental jigsaw puzzle. I walked out 15 minutes later with a lawn sweeper installed and working. I even stopped a few minutes in and grabbed a beer. Phillip screwdriver 8 screw and 4 bolts. Looked at an illustration once for the smaller bars to ensure they were orientated correctly. Don’t let others get in your head. Simple build. With a screwdriver. Note that the two side pieces are marked L and R that takes any of that guesswork out as well. This sweeper really needs a top screen to keep the debris directed into the bag though. A light wind pushes some of the leaves away before getting to the basket. I will dance sup something this afternoon. Edges also will need to be raked out a little or it won’t pick them up.

I was skeptical, especially given how hard Facebook wanted me to buy it. It just arrived.It took about 10 minutes to assemble. Instructions are not good. There are a couple nuances that can be frustrating (which way the curved bar goes in, and the screws at the bottom need to go through the plastic and the bar), but it’s very doable.It’s easy to use and the height is easy to adjust. It’s sloppy and can sling grass and especially pine cones over the receiving bag. So don’t push it too fast. The way the brush throws the debris, you better be ready for your allergies to flare. And you will have to reach down to push the grass to the back of the bag so you don’t have to dump as often.That being said, anything more and it would be overkill for what I need. I just want to get up the last row of grass that always stays behind and the pile at the corner of the square cut (IYKYK).I like it, will use it regularly, and do not regret the purchase. Granted it’s way over priced for the construction, but there isn’t anything better that’s cheaper. It’s just the quality of today’s tools.

I have an oak tree that drops about a million leaves of a squirrel sneezes 2 miles away. Year round, non stop. My yard guy doesn’t bag leaves, and I feel that mulching the leaves doesn’t help. The price was great and I had a little extra so I thought I would give it a try.Im a 50 something out of shape woman. I put it together without a problem and then gave it a go. The little section I have in the photos was 6 times emptying the leaf catcher.The area doesn’t have grass (I blame mulching!) so I didn’t have to fight with grass very much. The ground is uneven, but I had it at between medium and medium low and it was fine. The leaves were so deep I had to make a few passes, but that’s okay. When it bogged down a little I pushed the handle upwards/forwards and got more clearance.I is a workout for me since it’s all manual. But it wasn’t bad, and it was easier than my battery mower that does bag. By the time I’m finished it will have cost me a little more than 100 dollars and some sweat. It would cost me a few hundred dollars to get the leaves bagged each time, so I’m ahead.I don’t know how long it will last. I saw a review that said replacement brushes and maybe bags aren’t available. I imagine that with as much as I will use it, it may not last many years. But I’m still happy with the purchase. I should say that I have an entire acre to do, so I will be using it a lot.The only thing I wish was different is that it would be handy to have a loop/handle on the back of the back where the rod goes through for carrying the bag to empty it. I’m guessing this will be where it fails first, because I worry my fingers will eventually go through the mesh as I carry it to empty it out. Other than that, I like it. I am glad I bought it and I would recommend it as an inexpensive option for even heavy duty leaf clean up. And I’m very happy to see the leaves gone without costing several hundred dollars for a temporary fix.

This works pretty well. I put four stars because if you accidentally roll over a larger stick it will jam it up a bit. It does a good job at picking up smaller twigs, leaves, acorns and small debris. Easy to push and very easy to dump the bin when it is full.

I have a rather large front yard which I use a riding lawn mower for. Which I don’t have catch bag on because I don’t own one, but also if I attached one then it wouldn’t enable me to get into some tighter spots with the deck and fit through this one opening that just makes it significantly more convenient.So I have on one side of my house a long narrow stretch of grass that’s too narrow to spread the grass clippings around to the point where they’re not noticeable or piled up on the fence unless I spend like an extra 30 minutes driving over it and chopping it up and spreading it. This however allows me to just pick up the bulk of the grass clippings even if it can be tiring in the heat of summer doing a couple the few passes necessary, then use my mower to spread out the rest. The other areas of my front yard have more space to spread out the grass clippings so it’s not necessary there.Also use it in my back yard since my push mower back there leaves a trail of clippings on one side after a couple passes, so it saves me time there as well having to go back over it with a much smaller mower.

It works good on leafs and small sticks. But medium size sticks and acorns and other types of nust it does ok. When it comes to dog poo. I try not to get it flung up twords me so i cant speak on that yet. But my kids love it and run around the yard with it picking up all the leafs and stuff. The weels do get stuck some times but its not a hard fiz. I just take 2 steps back and its ready to go again. The basket makes it super easy to remove and empty. Over all decent products and looks nice just not what all the adds say it is.

The measurements given confused me 27 inch I assumed was the width of the sweeper but its the inside brush measurements. Its really quite wide. Wish it were narrower for my needs. Check measurements well before choosing.

Its great but wish it would fill up before I have to dump it. It doesn't like to collect in the back. I have to stop and push everything to thr back and then keep going. I also have to go over it twice. Maybe a. Operator error on that part.

This thing was amazing on its first use. It is relatively easy to put together, as long as pieces don't fall under the couch.My yard was full of about two years worth of decomposing leaf litter. This thing did a great job picking most of them up. As I had a lot, I expected to have to make multiple passes, and that was the case. The litter was composed of mulched leaves from mowing and some larger magnolia leaves along with sticks and acorns. The leaves and other things were picked up quickly. I started out with the sweeper on the highest level, but quickly realized I needed to adjust it to the lowest level to get the most bang for my buck. The adjustment was easy, and it stayed in place throughout my time in the yard. I don't really care about the appearance of my lawn tools because they'll eventually end up dusty and scratched, but out of the box, this is a nice looking piece. As there are no batteries and it's all manual, operation is quiet. When using it don't expect to be able to speed sweep; you have to give the brushes enough time to rotate and pick up leaves. I'm currently storing it under my deck, but it does come with a handle and some hardware to hang it against a garage wall in some sort of folded position that I don't fully understand. It was easy enough to dump, and though I wish the basket was a bit larger, I suppose the size makes it so when the basket is full it is still easy to carry and dump. I was skeptical because some reviews noted that it's not for bumpy yards, but I took a chance because a backpack blower was not in the budget. I found it to handle bumps quite easily. I do have some drainage routes that will require me to do a little raking before being able to sweep up the leaves. The only thing I really wish was that you could also pick up leaves while pulling it backward. I think there may be a newer version with different brushes, and I'm curious to see how these plastic ones will hold up over time. For under $100, plus a little discount because I got an open box return, I find it very affordable. I highly recommend this if you have grass clippings and leaves to clean up but don't want to spend time raking or don't have access to a quality leaf blower.

Overall this product is sitting at a 4/5 based on amazon reviews, and I agree with that rating. Recently moved into a house with turf in the backyard and had no idea how to handle it. Was raking with a turf broom which was fine, but I felt like there had to be a faster way to deal with it.This does work— not perfectly, but good enough for me. Instructions to put it together took me a few minutes to understand but overall it only took about 10 mins to put together. It doesn’t feel like it’ll last me anywhere near a lifetime, but for the price that was kind of expected. You definitely have to fine tune the height- it was too high the first time I pushed it and it didn’t pick up anything. My turf is pretty short so I lowered it (there’s a knob on the front bottom/center pipe to do so easily) quite a bit and it started picking up stuff immediately. Leaves, twigs, peanut shells from my bird feeder. I did have to go over some areas a few times but the machine is really lightweight so it wasn’t an issue for me. The one thing that’s awkward about this is turning; it’s not easy to turn and you kind of need to lift and pivot a few times. So for that, and the quality of materials, I’d bring this down to a 4/5. But ultimately I got this with low expectations and I’m pleased with the time and effort it’ll save me over raking and manually picking up lawn debris, so I’m happy with it.

Will I give this product a failing score, no. It did what it is said it’s going to do. Unfortunately, at the highest setting it’s still frustrating to use.Why I bought it. Mainly for my backyard. I keep my St. Augustine grass high (south TX). If we go too long without cutting it then grass will clog in our push mower & leave clumps of cut grass on top. I’ve either left it, it rains, & then it’s too difficult to pick up, or I get the rake out directly after mowing. This lawn sweeper was supposed to save the day.Pros: 👍It does a very good job picking up loose grass & tossing it into the hopper. Most of it actually makes it in. I went up & down each ‘row’ twice & the 2nd pass barely picked anything up. That means it did a great job on the initial pass. Surprisingly, the 21” hopper holds a tremendous amount of grass clippings. I really fought myself over which size to get; thinking I may even need a 30” but the 21” did everything I needed it to do without having to empty out. I also like how the hopper is open to grab larger items (weeds along the fence, etc) & toss it in while passing by.Cons: 👎Quite a few frustrations here. First & foremost, it’s just not built very robust. It easily gets bogged down if the grass is too high for its liking & you feel like you’ll break it in half if you push any harder to get it rolling. Ultimately, you have to give up on that area. The turning is absolutely horrible. I feel like the engineers thought through most check boxes except for turning. Well, you have to turn at some point. The wheels make a grinding sound when I ‘lightly’ turn like they’re going to snap off. They just don’t want to move during a turn! So, I have to do a hop/scoot & turn so I don’t break it. And when I do have to get forceful to get it moving forward, the polls down to the unit starts to twist like it’s going to snap in 1/2. Again, 99% of it is plastic so I guess that would be expected. Unfortunately, I was hoping I could pass this job off to 1 of my kids or even my wife to do, but that’s not going to happen. They won’t be able to push it when it gets caught up. So unbeknownst to me, I added another job to my own list. 🥴 Lastly, I NEVER would have spent $90+ for this lawn sweeper if I knew how it would perform. I could accept wasting $50, but almost double that just makes me angry.At the end, after I look at the yard and compare a before & after I will give it the grade they want; it did awesome. There’s a visual difference after I’m done. But at some point either the lawn sweeper will give up & break under pressure, or I will give it a couple of Hulk slams into the ground & send it over the fence. I’ve given the lawn sweeper its warning to straighten up, or else. The unknown future is exciting.

I purchased this full price and was not solicited or paid for a review in any way. But I love this thing, so much better than raking for my 9.2 acres of woodland. With 7 dogs, a few horses, goats, chickens and more nut trees than I can count... there's a lot to clean up on the grounds. Assembly was easy, less than 10mins to put it together. I wish the handle had height adjustment - I am 5'10" and the handle is a bit low for me. The sweeper deck has height adjustment that works great and is easy to adjust, though I wish it had a longer handle so I didn't have to stop and bend down to adjust it on the fly. Works the best the lower the sweeper deck height is set, but harder to push. If I was in the suburbs I'd get the smaller one, if my land was more open, I'd get a tow behind version for a mower/tractor. Overall build quality is great, seems like it will last a long time, though heavy loads will bow the bottom of the bag and cause it drag, not sure if the will hold up or wear through over time. The sweeper brushes it comes with are great for picking up small, light debris but struggle with dog poop, black walnuts, and sticks. I also got the other replacement brushes that are a flexible plastic and they do a better job on the heavier items. I use a mix of the two brush types and it works awesome.Great for:- leaves- small sticks- honey locust pods- chestnuts- hay/straw- pine shavings- dried horse/goat/chicken droppingsOkay for:- black walnuts (haven't tried in the autumn when they still have the fruit)- dog droppings (gets some of it, takes several passes, still have to scoop the stubborn ones)Doesn't work on:- larger sticks or sticks that fork- rocks of any size-baling wire/twine, rope, string (immediately tangles, hard to clear, avoid as much as possible)It isn't perfect, but it's solid and would highly recommend.

I bought it mainly because my front lawn was covered with pine cones, pine needles, and small branches after the winter, to the point where I could barely even see the grass. Last year I handled all of that with a manual rake, and it took a ton of time and effort. This sweeper made a huge difference.On the first use, it picked up a good amount of exactly what I needed it to pick up. It was not 100% perfect, but what it left behind was very minimal and easy to deal with. What would have taken me a long time by hand was done much faster and with far less effort, so for me this was absolutely a worthwhile investment.My only complaint is that the height adjustment did not always seem to lock into place properly. A few times, it dropped down to the lowest setting while I was using it, which was definitely annoying and happened more than I would have liked. Still, aside from that issue, this lawn sweeper performed very well and saved me a lot of work. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase.

I don't leave a ton of reviews. But this product absolutely merits one.First, I was not asked, paid, or coerced into this review. I'm just a happy customer.I have a heavily wooded yard near the metropark system. Lots of pines, oaks, and a massive bald cypress on and around my property. The bald cypress specifically drops feathery leaves and wooden cones that are impossible to rake. It's a losing battle every year. And that doesn't count the twigs, leaves, nuts, etc. that decorate my property.I casually put together this heavy-duty sweeper in less than 15 minutes and took it out to the front yard.And my life changed.I ran inside and made my wife come watch. She made fun of me until she saw how much this picked up. Sticks, pine needles, cones, leaves. Even the sheddings of my bald cypress were no match.Is it perfect? No. There will be bits left behind.Is it essential? Absolutely.Adjusting the brush level is the most important part. The way it is designed allows you to fine-tune the brush height. I have found that the lower the setting, the better. When you get to the point that you get noticeable resistance when you sweep, that is ideal. It's not a casual stroll. It's closer to a mower without auto-drive than it is a leisurely stroll.I also adjust as I go. Some parts of my lawn need a different setting. Make sure you respond to the change of resistance by adjusting the brush level.I also take overlapping passes, as I do with my mover, essentially hitting every spot twice. And for some really tough spots, I went back and forth over it, like a mop, three or four times.I make sure I have a large yard bag inside a trash can for emptying. I spilled the net the first time trying to manipulate it into a free-standing yard bag and learned my lesson. Hefty makes compostable trash bags, which work well. Just know they aren't as sturdy as a trash bag.All in all I consider this an essential yard tool and only wish I would have discovered it YEARS ago. I can see myself using this once or twice in the spring for clean up and regularly in the fall. With the time saved I will smoke more cigars and a have a beer.Don't listen to the haters. I've had about half a dozen different lawn sweepers for the artificial turf in my backyard and for one reason or another (broken beyond repair, can't get parts, missing parts, or just plain junk the doesn;t perform well) I don't have them any more so I needed a new one. Typically I lean toward the name brand stuff and pay the higher price to get more quality and durability instead of plastic parts where metal should be, comfortable handles, etc. Looking around on Amazon to find the next lawn sweeper that I would throw away and I came across the one from Vevor. Not completely aware of this brand i decided to give it a try because because for the most part all the remaining sweepers where either the same, or variations on a theme, of what I had before. When the box arrived, the logo on the side said : "VEVOR Tough Tools, Half Price" which gave me pause. What did I get myself into this time?I out it together, took about 10 minutes and one #2 Phillips screwdriver. The sweeper felt sold in spite of being mostly plastic, but the plastic parts felt thicker than parts from other sweepers. In short, it felt strong and durable, and not too heavy. After i got it to the lawn and dialed in the height adjustment, gave it a push over some leaves, twigs, and mulch and swept it right up. Surprise! I didn't expect it to work so well the first time. i swept the whole backyard and learned a few things. 1) Don't expect to get everything on the first pass. I have stick, twigs, leaves, dog poop, bark, and Gorilla Hair mulch to deal with so it takes a few passes to get it. 2) Once dialed in for the type of material you want to sweep up, you still must raise the handle during forward motion from its resting position (about waist height) to a maximum of about 60 degrees as you push it forward to accommodate changes in turf elevation, material to sweep and how fast you move the sweeper. Its not a big deal and it's rather intuitive as you can see the rotating sweeper brush get mired in the turf if you don't swing the handle up a bit. 3) Once you get a hang of it, walk a little faster now. The increased momentum will give it some inertia and make the job easier. 4) Stuff can get embedded in the turf so don't expect 100% debris removal. It's a sweeper, not a vacuum. If you need the turf to be 100% debris-free then get this sweeper and a reasonable vacuum for the tough spots and corners that this sweeper cant get into effectively due to its size.Note to Vevor. I hope you are working on a powered version of this design, maybe with a vacuum to boot. I think the approach used in this model is a sound design and adding power to it could be used to augment the sweeping function or add self-propelled wheels. I would gladly be first in line to pickup a powered sweeper if you had one.

However, compared with the amount it collected from my 35-foot sycamore tree, the loss was minimal and entirely acceptable. I do wish it had rubber-lined or rubber tires, although the current wheels help keep the unit lightweight and easy to handle.What impressed me most was how quickly I could clear the yard. It was very hot that afternoon, even in the shade, but within about an hour I had covered nearly my entire yard, and the driveway, approximately1,500 square feet total. I collected enough leaves to fill two highly compressed 40-gallon bags. Doing the same job with a rake previously took most of an afternoon, including gathering and dumping the leaves.Storage is also convenient. The handle folds over to reduce the amount of space it occupies, and the sweeper even comes with its own custom wall hanger, complete with drywall anchors and screws.Is it perfect? No. Could it be improved? Certainly. However, for the price and the amount of time and effort it saved me, it was well worth the money. My guess is that some of my neighbors will own one soon—we have plenty of trees around here, and none of us enjoys raking.This was only its first run, and it is not even fall yet. I plan to update this review in late October, after all the neighborhood trees make their annual donations to my yard. My instinct is that it will perform even better once the grass is shorter and prepared for winter.

This works pretty well. I put four stars because if you accidentally roll over a larger stick it will jam it up a bit. It does a good job at picking up smaller twigs, leaves, acorns and small debris. Easy to push and very easy to dump the bin when it is full.

I have a rather large front yard which I use a riding lawn mower for. Which I don’t have catch bag on because I don’t own one, but also if I attached one then it wouldn’t enable me to get into some tighter spots with the deck and fit through this one opening that just makes it significantly more convenient.So I have on one side of my house a long narrow stretch of grass that’s too narrow to spread the grass clippings around to the point where they’re not noticeable or piled up on the fence unless I spend like an extra 30 minutes driving over it and chopping it up and spreading it. This however allows me to just pick up the bulk of the grass clippings even if it can be tiring in the heat of summer doing a couple the few passes necessary, then use my mower to spread out the rest. The other areas of my front yard have more space to spread out the grass clippings so it’s not necessary there.Also use it in my back yard since my push mower back there leaves a trail of clippings on one side after a couple passes, so it saves me time there as well having to go back over it with a much smaller mower.

It works good on leafs and small sticks. But medium size sticks and acorns and other types of nust it does ok. When it comes to dog poo. I try not to get it flung up twords me so i cant speak on that yet. But my kids love it and run around the yard with it picking up all the leafs and stuff. The weels do get stuck some times but its not a hard fiz. I just take 2 steps back and its ready to go again. The basket makes it super easy to remove and empty. Over all decent products and looks nice just not what all the adds say it is.

The measurements given confused me 27 inch I assumed was the width of the sweeper but its the inside brush measurements. Its really quite wide. Wish it were narrower for my needs. Check measurements well before choosing.

Its great but wish it would fill up before I have to dump it. It doesn't like to collect in the back. I have to stop and push everything to thr back and then keep going. I also have to go over it twice. Maybe a. Operator error on that part.

This thing was amazing on its first use. It is relatively easy to put together, as long as pieces don't fall under the couch.My yard was full of about two years worth of decomposing leaf litter. This thing did a great job picking most of them up. As I had a lot, I expected to have to make multiple passes, and that was the case. The litter was composed of mulched leaves from mowing and some larger magnolia leaves along with sticks and acorns. The leaves and other things were picked up quickly. I started out with the sweeper on the highest level, but quickly realized I needed to adjust it to the lowest level to get the most bang for my buck. The adjustment was easy, and it stayed in place throughout my time in the yard. I don't really care about the appearance of my lawn tools because they'll eventually end up dusty and scratched, but out of the box, this is a nice looking piece. As there are no batteries and it's all manual, operation is quiet. When using it don't expect to be able to speed sweep; you have to give the brushes enough time to rotate and pick up leaves. I'm currently storing it under my deck, but it does come with a handle and some hardware to hang it against a garage wall in some sort of folded position that I don't fully understand. It was easy enough to dump, and though I wish the basket was a bit larger, I suppose the size makes it so when the basket is full it is still easy to carry and dump. I was skeptical because some reviews noted that it's not for bumpy yards, but I took a chance because a backpack blower was not in the budget. I found it to handle bumps quite easily. I do have some drainage routes that will require me to do a little raking before being able to sweep up the leaves. The only thing I really wish was that you could also pick up leaves while pulling it backward. I think there may be a newer version with different brushes, and I'm curious to see how these plastic ones will hold up over time. For under $100, plus a little discount because I got an open box return, I find it very affordable. I highly recommend this if you have grass clippings and leaves to clean up but don't want to spend time raking or don't have access to a quality leaf blower.

Overall this product is sitting at a 4/5 based on amazon reviews, and I agree with that rating. Recently moved into a house with turf in the backyard and had no idea how to handle it. Was raking with a turf broom which was fine, but I felt like there had to be a faster way to deal with it.This does work— not perfectly, but good enough for me. Instructions to put it together took me a few minutes to understand but overall it only took about 10 mins to put together. It doesn’t feel like it’ll last me anywhere near a lifetime, but for the price that was kind of expected. You definitely have to fine tune the height- it was too high the first time I pushed it and it didn’t pick up anything. My turf is pretty short so I lowered it (there’s a knob on the front bottom/center pipe to do so easily) quite a bit and it started picking up stuff immediately. Leaves, twigs, peanut shells from my bird feeder. I did have to go over some areas a few times but the machine is really lightweight so it wasn’t an issue for me. The one thing that’s awkward about this is turning; it’s not easy to turn and you kind of need to lift and pivot a few times. So for that, and the quality of materials, I’d bring this down to a 4/5. But ultimately I got this with low expectations and I’m pleased with the time and effort it’ll save me over raking and manually picking up lawn debris, so I’m happy with it.

Will I give this product a failing score, no. It did what it is said it’s going to do. Unfortunately, at the highest setting it’s still frustrating to use.Why I bought it. Mainly for my backyard. I keep my St. Augustine grass high (south TX). If we go too long without cutting it then grass will clog in our push mower & leave clumps of cut grass on top. I’ve either left it, it rains, & then it’s too difficult to pick up, or I get the rake out directly after mowing. This lawn sweeper was supposed to save the day.Pros: 👍It does a very good job picking up loose grass & tossing it into the hopper. Most of it actually makes it in. I went up & down each ‘row’ twice & the 2nd pass barely picked anything up. That means it did a great job on the initial pass. Surprisingly, the 21” hopper holds a tremendous amount of grass clippings. I really fought myself over which size to get; thinking I may even need a 30” but the 21” did everything I needed it to do without having to empty out. I also like how the hopper is open to grab larger items (weeds along the fence, etc) & toss it in while passing by.Cons: 👎Quite a few frustrations here. First & foremost, it’s just not built very robust. It easily gets bogged down if the grass is too high for its liking & you feel like you’ll break it in half if you push any harder to get it rolling. Ultimately, you have to give up on that area. The turning is absolutely horrible. I feel like the engineers thought through most check boxes except for turning. Well, you have to turn at some point. The wheels make a grinding sound when I ‘lightly’ turn like they’re going to snap off. They just don’t want to move during a turn! So, I have to do a hop/scoot & turn so I don’t break it. And when I do have to get forceful to get it moving forward, the polls down to the unit starts to twist like it’s going to snap in 1/2. Again, 99% of it is plastic so I guess that would be expected. Unfortunately, I was hoping I could pass this job off to 1 of my kids or even my wife to do, but that’s not going to happen. They won’t be able to push it when it gets caught up. So unbeknownst to me, I added another job to my own list. 🥴 Lastly, I NEVER would have spent $90+ for this lawn sweeper if I knew how it would perform. I could accept wasting $50, but almost double that just makes me angry.At the end, after I look at the yard and compare a before & after I will give it the grade they want; it did awesome. There’s a visual difference after I’m done. But at some point either the lawn sweeper will give up & break under pressure, or I will give it a couple of Hulk slams into the ground & send it over the fence. I’ve given the lawn sweeper its warning to straighten up, or else. The unknown future is exciting.

I purchased this full price and was not solicited or paid for a review in any way. But I love this thing, so much better than raking for my 9.2 acres of woodland. With 7 dogs, a few horses, goats, chickens and more nut trees than I can count... there's a lot to clean up on the grounds. Assembly was easy, less than 10mins to put it together. I wish the handle had height adjustment - I am 5'10" and the handle is a bit low for me. The sweeper deck has height adjustment that works great and is easy to adjust, though I wish it had a longer handle so I didn't have to stop and bend down to adjust it on the fly. Works the best the lower the sweeper deck height is set, but harder to push. If I was in the suburbs I'd get the smaller one, if my land was more open, I'd get a tow behind version for a mower/tractor. Overall build quality is great, seems like it will last a long time, though heavy loads will bow the bottom of the bag and cause it drag, not sure if the will hold up or wear through over time. The sweeper brushes it comes with are great for picking up small, light debris but struggle with dog poop, black walnuts, and sticks. I also got the other replacement brushes that are a flexible plastic and they do a better job on the heavier items. I use a mix of the two brush types and it works awesome.Great for:- leaves- small sticks- honey locust pods- chestnuts- hay/straw- pine shavings- dried horse/goat/chicken droppingsOkay for:- black walnuts (haven't tried in the autumn when they still have the fruit)- dog droppings (gets some of it, takes several passes, still have to scoop the stubborn ones)Doesn't work on:- larger sticks or sticks that fork- rocks of any size-baling wire/twine, rope, string (immediately tangles, hard to clear, avoid as much as possible)It isn't perfect, but it's solid and would highly recommend.

I’m very happy with this VEVOR Push Lawn Sweeper. I bought it mainly because my front lawn was covered with pine cones, pine needles, and small branches after the winter, to the point where I could barely even see the grass. Last year I handled all of that with a manual rake, and it took a ton of time and effort. This sweeper made a huge difference.On the first use, it picked up a good amount of exactly what I needed it to pick up. It was not 100% perfect, but what it left behind was very minimal and easy to deal with. What would have taken me a long time by hand was done much faster and with far less effort, so for me this was absolutely a worthwhile investment.My only complaint is that the height adjustment did not always seem to lock into place properly. A few times, it dropped down to the lowest setting while I was using it, which was definitely annoying and happened more than I would have liked. Still, aside from that issue, this lawn sweeper performed very well and saved me a lot of work. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase.

I don't leave a ton of reviews. But this product absolutely merits one.First, I was not asked, paid, or coerced into this review. I'm just a happy customer.I have a heavily wooded yard near the metropark system. Lots of pines, oaks, and a massive bald cypress on and around my property. The bald cypress specifically drops feathery leaves and wooden cones that are impossible to rake. It's a losing battle every year. And that doesn't count the twigs, leaves, nuts, etc. that decorate my property.I casually put together this heavy-duty sweeper in less than 15 minutes and took it out to the front yard.And my life changed.I ran inside and made my wife come watch. She made fun of me until she saw how much this picked up. Sticks, pine needles, cones, leaves. Even the sheddings of my bald cypress were no match.Is it perfect? No. There will be bits left behind.Is it essential? Absolutely.Adjusting the brush level is the most important part. The way it is designed allows you to fine-tune the brush height. I have found that the lower the setting, the better. When you get to the point that you get noticeable resistance when you sweep, that is ideal. It's not a casual stroll. It's closer to a mower without auto-drive than it is a leisurely stroll.I also adjust as I go. Some parts of my lawn need a different setting. Make sure you respond to the change of resistance by adjusting the brush level.I also take overlapping passes, as I do with my mover, essentially hitting every spot twice. And for some really tough spots, I went back and forth over it, like a mop, three or four times.I make sure I have a large yard bag inside a trash can for emptying. I spilled the net the first time trying to manipulate it into a free-standing yard bag and learned my lesson. Hefty makes compostable trash bags, which work well. Just know they aren't as sturdy as a trash bag.All in all I consider this an essential yard tool and only wish I would have discovered it YEARS ago. I can see myself using this once or twice in the spring for clean up and regularly in the fall. With the time saved I will smoke more cigars and a have a beer.Don't listen to the haters. I've had about half a dozen different lawn sweepers for the artificial turf in my backyard and for one reason or another (broken beyond repair, can't get parts, missing parts, or just plain junk the doesn;t perform well) I don't have them any more so I needed a new one. Typically I lean toward the name brand stuff and pay the higher price to get more quality and durability instead of plastic parts where metal should be, comfortable handles, etc. Looking around on Amazon to find the next lawn sweeper that I would throw away and I came across the one from Vevor. Not completely aware of this brand i decided to give it a try because because for the most part all the remaining sweepers where either the same, or variations on a theme, of what I had before. When the box arrived, the logo on the side said : "VEVOR Tough Tools, Half Price" which gave me pause. What did I get myself into this time?I out it together, took about 10 minutes and one #2 Phillips screwdriver. The sweeper felt sold in spite of being mostly plastic, but the plastic parts felt thicker than parts from other sweepers. In short, it felt strong and durable, and not too heavy. After i got it to the lawn and dialed in the height adjustment, gave it a push over some leaves, twigs, and mulch and swept it right up. Surprise! I didn't expect it to work so well the first time. i swept the whole backyard and learned a few things. 1) Don't expect to get everything on the first pass. I have stick, twigs, leaves, dog poop, bark, and Gorilla Hair mulch to deal with so it takes a few passes to get it. 2) Once dialed in for the type of material you want to sweep up, you still must raise the handle during forward motion from its resting position (about waist height) to a maximum of about 60 degrees as you push it forward to accommodate changes in turf elevation, material to sweep and how fast you move the sweeper. Its not a big deal and it's rather intuitive as you can see the rotating sweeper brush get mired in the turf if you don't swing the handle up a bit. 3) Once you get a hang of it, walk a little faster now. The increased momentum will give it some inertia and make the job easier. 4) Stuff can get embedded in the turf so don't expect 100% debris removal. It's a sweeper, not a vacuum. If you need the turf to be 100% debris-free then get this sweeper and a reasonable vacuum for the tough spots and corners that this sweeper cant get into effectively due to its size.Note to Vevor. I hope you are working on a powered version of this design, maybe with a vacuum to boot. I think the approach used in this model is a sound design and adding power to it could be used to augment the sweeping function or add self-propelled wheels. I would gladly be first in line to pickup a powered sweeper if you had one.
